Fertilize your lawn naturally with 100% organic compost topdressing, the old fashioned way of providing long-lasting all natural nutrition throughout the season. We utilize a custom blend that we mix ourselves, sifting out large particles in the process to achieve a finer material that enables it to become more rapidly available as grass food.

Control weeds naturally with 100% organic pre-emergent treatments, typically applied in early spring. The product we utilize consists entirely of organic corn gluten meal (nothing else), which is EPA approved as non-toxic to humans and pets and “Generally Recognized As Safe” by the FDA.

Protect your lawn naturally with our 100% Organic Insect & Grub Control treatments consisting of beneficial nematodes, which target grubs and other lawn-disrupting insects without chemicals. Did you know that the nematodes in our 100% Organic Insect & Grub Control are also an effective mole deterrent? When moles are drawn to your yard, attacking the nutrition they are after is a practical, effective, and non-disruptive way to defend your turf. Overseeding
Concentrated gatherings of a single species of grass, such as what our lawns are made of, simply don’t exist in nature. Overseeding is essential to maintain long-term lawn health. Our overseeding service includes core aeration for improved seed to soil contact. We provide the option of 100% organic turfgrass or clover seed, and finish with 100% organic compost topdressing to protect against wind.
Core Aeration
Core aeration is perhaps the most beneficial organic lawn practice as it relieves soil compaction and improves the movement of air, water, and nutrients into the root zone, making everything else you give your lawn that much more effective. We mechanically remove small plugs of soil throughout the lawn to stimulate microbial activity, encourage deeper root growth, and promote thicker, healthier turf. Soil plugs are left on the surface to naturally break down and return nutrients back into the lawn.
"Liquid Aeration"
“Liquid Aeration” has recently emerged as a trend in the green landscaping community. However, we have used this technique to naturally aerate soils in Chicagoland for many years with our BEYOND Organic Lawn Fertilization program, which includes all aspects of “liquid aeration” service by default. Whether you are a new or existing customer, we do not seek to upsell you like other landscapers!

Our seasonal reset prepares your property for healthy spring growth. During this one-time service, we cut back dormant perennials, collect and mulch remaining leaves, remove accumulated debris, mow turf to a maximum 2” height, and redefine existing V-trench bed edges for a crisp, finished appearance throughout your entire yard.
Mulch Installation
We deliver and professionally install premium organic mulch to enhance moisture retention, suppress weeds, and provide a clean, finished appearance to your landscape beds, including refreshing bed edges with a defined V-trench as needed.

Repel ticks and mosquitoes without harming bees or butterflies! Our technicians carefully apply each treatment while staying mindful of our pollinator friends. When flowering plants are present, treatments are applied to surrounding areas such as lawn, bare soil, or non-flowing plants. Prepare your yard for winter! Our technicians will displace leaves from your lawn and landscaped beds and mow to mulch leaves into fine pieces. This enables quicker incorporation into the soil, a super easy and no-brainer way to feed your lawn and landscapes with 100% organic nutrition that was born in your own backyard, while also providing a much cleaner and lighter look at a time of year when it is very much needed.

- Complete Lawn Rehabs: In extreme cases, a comprehensive treatment program is required to overhaul your lawn to be chemical-free, naturally healthy, and 100% organic.

Smart Watering For The Modern Era
Your biology needs water to survive. So do plants. Turfgrass requires one-inch of water per week, and if nature doesn’t provide it, the homeowner should. Turfgrass is a time-and-resource-sucking-indulgence and an organic lawn is no different.

Mow High & Compost
Set your mower blade to 3″ or as high as it will go. A longer blade of grass can out-compete weeds for light and longer roots out-compete weeds for moisture.
You notice we use a lot of leaf mulch and compost. As the diagram explains, leaf mulch becomes compost, so the bottom line is: COMPOST! It is the magic bullet providing biology and food sources to improve the fertility, texture and moisture retention of your soil.
Find ways to compost and reuse your leaves in the lawn and garden instead of raking to the curb each fall. Leave grass clippings on the lawn, as they return nitrogen to the soil.
