Rainfall* over the past 7 days: Nil. Over the past 30 days has been around 2 inches.
Established lawns: Do not need watering, but if you do, provide 1-inch of water all on one day, preferably after the heat wave (heat helps turfgrass develop deeper root systems), and in the morning.
Recently sodded lawns (within the last 4 weeks): Follow your watering schedule. Provide extra moisture on hot sunny days. Monitor for brown spots and provide them with extra moisture.
Established perennial beds: Do not need watering.
Recently installed perennial beds (within last 12 weeks): Follow your watering schedule.
Established trees & shrubs: Do not need watering.
Recently installed trees & shrubs (within last 12 weeks): Follow your watering schedule.
Established rain gardens: Do not need watering.
Recently installed rain gardens (within the last 8 weeks): Follow your watering schedule.
